It was 1989 when Rupendra Radia and his wife, working as nurses wearing simple cut & tailored medical uniforms day after day, were inspired by the idea making a better scrub set and lab coat that can wear well and set them apart.

Soon after, they quit the hospital and set themselves into an adventure that they have been enjoying in since. They started out making and selling medical uniforms under Spectrum Uniforms brand in a retail outlet in Galveston, Texas.

Since then, the business has grown much faster than they expected. Spectrum Uniforms, today, is a medium sized manufacturing and wholesale business. As a result, the company has a strong presence in medical and wholesale distribution and is a leader in the medical apparel field.
